Farmers market

The village Farmers Market is located at 4684 NC 42 East, Clayton near the Percy Flowers Store. Operated by Brad Barnett, the market offers fresh seasonal produce and home made pies, cakes, jellies and jams. A particular favorite is the fudge made with cream and butter; this delectable treat can be boxed and wrapped, ready for gift giving. A new seasonal offering that's sure to please is the addition of cooked and seasoned collard greens for sale each day. During early fall (late September-October) mums and pumpkins will be abundant as well as fall produce, boiled peanuts, and as always, those yummy homemade pies and cakes- which are available for special order. Thanksgiving orders for cakes and pies will be taken up until two weeks before Thanksgiving, then its first come, first served. Christmas trees and wreaths are available beginning Thanksgiving.
