My name is Karrin Quinn and I am the Zumba® instructor here at the Pineville Club. My family and I are also members of the Pineville Club and live in the area. I hold a B.A. in Sociology and had a career as a Social Worker in the Nursing Home Industry prior to becoming a stay at home Mom. I have always had a passion for fitness, exercise and running. A few years ago I became interested in Zumba® as another way to stay fit. I completed the required courses to become a certified Zumba® instructor and have been teaching classes in the area for the past year and a half. I am also certified to teach Zumba® Gold which is targeted for those in the “golden” years of life seeking a great workout, but with less intensity of the regular Zumba® classes. I am a member of the Zumba® Instructor Network (ZIN) which keeps me up to date with the latest information, teaching skills, and music available exclusively to Zumba® instructors. Zumba® is a fun, new, hip way to stay in shape. The great thing about a Zumba® class is you can make the workout your own. You can keep the intensity low, or go full throttle - it’s all up to you!

Kickboxing – Get your heart pumping and your legs moving! This is a 45 minute cardio and strengthening class full of jabs, kicks and cuts!!!!!

Cardio/Sculpt – This 45 minute workout provides both cardio and sculpting in an interval format. Intervals are designed to get your heart rate up during the cardio segment, keep it up during the sculpting segment and just before coming back down, we add some abdominal work.

Water Aerobics – Come join us for a fun low-impact work out! This is a 45 minute aerobic training and body toning class and even though the impact is low, the intensity can be whatever you make it because water offers 12 times the resistance of air!!!

YOGA 101 – Slow introduction of yoga postures to the novice. This work-out will maximize your overall fitness through centering and balancing by improving flexibility, strengthening the body musculature, and relieving stress.

Mat Pilates - This group class combines all the exercises and philosophies of Pilates apparatus work, but without the apparatus. Since there is no apparatus involved, you will look to your own body to create resistance. This is an amazing way to connect with and strengthen your “Powerhouse”.

Core Strengthening – This complete and challenging workout designed to optimize power, balance, and functional strength. This dynamic, multi-dimensional training system is based on athletic training and sports rehabilitation principles.
