2017 Advanced Competitve Swim Training
A program of training and instruction for advanced competitive swimmers.
Swimmers should have mastered basic stroke technique and be ready for a comprehensive training program.

Competitive Swim Training for Home School Swimmers
Stroke & Turn Technique development with appropriate aerobic conditioning.
Ages 7 and above
Maximum 10 swimmers

Monday, Thursday 1:15 – 2:15 pm
Daytime and evening private and group swim lessons are available. Call in to schedule your lessons with the front desk at 919.553.1984 x 201. Available to ages 3 and up. Five lessons included with each booking. Email Coach Brooks Teal for more information. The maximum amount of students per lesson is five. You can choose from various dates in September and October. Visit our online registration for a list of all class availability. Sessions are $80 for five 40 minute sessions for Club Members and $100 for five 40 minute sessions for non-members.
Level 1: Introduction to Water Skills
Meant for children who are not yet comfortable in the water. Kids are taught basic skills including putting face in the water, blowing bubbles, floating positions on front and back (with support), and introduction of arm and leg action.
Level 2: Fundamental Aquatic Skills
This is for children who are comfortable putting their face in the water. Kids are taught basic skills including Front and back float (5 seconds, without support), putting head under water, swimming five yards on front and back without support.
Level 3: Stroke Development
This is for children who can support themselves in water over their head, can swim for 5 yards on their front and back. Basic skills: Developing front and back crawl, submerging and retrieving object, treading water.
Level 4: Stroke Improvement
This is for swimmers who know how to swim, are comfortable in deep water, but may not have had formal training. Basis Skills: Refining strokes and developing efficiency and breathing skills to swim 25 yards on front and back. The competitive strokes are introduced along with survival floating.
